Wireless
Wireless networks are generally implemented with some type of information transmission system that uses electromagnetic waves, such as radio waves, for the carrier. The wireless solution needed by most SEIMITSU customers is Wi-Fi, which provides secure, reliable, fast computer connections when cabling is not practical. Wi-Fi is used most commonly in outdoor areas and public or semi-public areas frequented by laptop computer users, such as meeting facilities, hotels, and coffee shops.
SEIMITSU also offers expertise in additional forms of wireless networking, and uses that expertise to solve unique communications challenges for which Wi-Fi is not the best answer. Additional Wi-Fi technologies we supply include the following:
Wireless LAN
SEIMITSU can provide wireless LAN (local area network) solutions for data and resource sharing within a local area. This is especially useful in factory or production environments where cabling runs are impractical or prohibitively expensive.Fixed Wireless Data
A fixed wireless data network can be used to connect two or more buildings together to extend or share network bandwidth without physically wiring the buildings together.
